Kaleigh Hope Tuso

Professional Organizer & Declutter Consultant

Productivity Body-Double, Educator, and Graduate Student

I am passionate about creating calm in the midst of everyday chaos.

My experience as a classroom teacher taught me how to listen with empathy, understand nuanced needs, create effective systems, manage complex projects, and—perhaps most importantly—make even the most mundane tasks feel joyful and achievable.

I believe functional organizing systems can create an ongoing sense of calm and routine in our daily lives. Our spaces should support us, not leave us feeling like we’re constantly working against them.

I went to college to become a writer and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Creative Writing. Along the way, I worked as a nanny, childcare assistant, kids’ yoga and gymnastics instructor, and personal assistant before becoming a credentialed educator. I eventually taught students from TK through 12th grade, including all elementary subjects and high school English.

Teaching taught me profound patience, compassion, and the importance of listening to the words people say, observing the actions they exhibit, and recognizing the feelings they may leave unspoken.

After several years of teaching, I realized I needed a career reset and a fresh start. I began looking for work that brought together the things I already loved: helping people, teaching, creativity, problem-solving, and making everyday life feel a little easier… and one day it dawned on me—professional organization, of course!

Organizing is what I naturally turn to when I’m stressed, when I’m feeling creative, and when I want to create a space that works with me instead of against me. So I decided to turn something that had always brought me joy into a way of helping others. Declutter Organize Breathe was born!

Today, my work as an organizer and my continued education are deeply connected. I’m currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Applied English, where my thesis research explores Narratives of Clutter Consumption—the personal stories, experiences, and meanings we attach to the things we keep and the spaces we inhabit.

This research has deepened my curiosity about the complicated relationships we have with our belongings and strengthened my belief that organizing is about much more than creating a tidy space. It’s about understanding what matters to you and creating an environment that supports the life you want to live.

Curious about my research? If you’d like to contribute to my study, you’re invited to complete my Narratives of Clutter Consumption Research Survey.

I’ve put tremendous care into creating a business that feels accessible, supportive, and genuinely helpful. Whether you’re looking for hands-on organizing support, guidance and accountability, or resources to help you get started, I’m so happy you’re here.
